We care about your privacy, but also about your time. That is why, we prepared a short version of the most important rules related to privacy protection for you.

  • When you create an account in our online store, edit your profile, place orders, and contact us, you provide us with your personal information, and we guarantee that your data will remain confidential, secure and will not be made available to any third parties without your express consent.
  • We use analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, which collect anonymous information about your visit to the store, such as the subpages displayed, the time spent on the website or the navigation between individual subpages.
  • We use cookies to make it possible for you to comfortably use the store and make sure that the information found in the store is tailored to your interests, needs and expectations.

The purposes, legal bases and period of personal data processing shall be indicated separately for each purpose of data processing (see the provisions below for a detailed description of the different purposes of data processing).

In connection with the processing of your personal data by us, you shall have the following rights:

  1. the right to request access to your personal data and the right to modify, delete your personal data or limit its processing,
  2. the right to object to the processing,
  3. the right to transfer data,
  4. the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for a specific purpose, if you previously gave such a consent,
  5. the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body in relation to the processing of personal data by us.

The above rights can be exercised in accordance with the rules described in Art. 16 – 21 of GDPR by contacting us at sklep@vest-pol.pl. We may refuse the exercise of the above-mentioned certain rights in a situation where the exercise of a given right would be in conflict with the legitimate purpose of the data we process. For example, we may refuse to delete your personal data contained in your order until the expiry of the period of limitation of claims due to the agreement concluded via the store.

Providing personal data by you is always voluntary, however, it is necessary to provide the data to create an account on the website, place an order, contact us, withdraw from the agreement or submit a complaint.

We guarantee the confidentiality of all personal data provided to us. We provide all the measures to secure and protect personal data required by the provisions on the protection of personal data. Personal data is collected with due diligence and properly protected against access by unauthorized persons. Personal data is processed only within the territory of the European Union.

We entrust the processing of personal data to the following entities:

User’s account.

By creating a user account in the store, you must provide your basic data, such as e-mail address, first and last name, and password.You can modify your data assigned to your account at any time using the options available after logging into your account. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data contained in the user’s account is the implementation of the agreement for keeping an account in the store, which you conclude with the administrator based on the rules of the store.Your personal data contained in your account is processed for the duration of your account, i.e. for the duration of the agreement for keeping an account referred to above. You can decide to delete your account at any time, which shall also result in the deletion of your personal data from the database. Remember, however, that deleting an account does not result in the deletion of the data related to the orders placed via the store.

Placing an order.

When placing an order via the store, you must provide your personal information necessary to complete the order, such as your name, email address, telephone number and address for the delivery of the order. In order to fulfill orders for selected products it is required to give product weight or other information which you are informed about during the process of order placement. You can also provide additional data, such as information about your business activity. If you previously provided such data in your user account, this data will be automatically added to the order form, however, you can always modify it. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data contained in the order is the implementation of the sales agreement which you conclude based on the rules of the store. The data given in the order form will be stored in the store database and will be stored until the limitation of the claims related to the sales agreement concluded via the store. Each order is recorded as a separate item in the database. In addition to personal data, order details such as the date of order, subject and value of the order, selected method of delivery and payment are also recorded.

 

Invoices.

If, in connection with the order placed, we issue an invoice to you, we process your personal data to the extent necessary to issue the invoice. The legal basis for the processing your data in this case is the fulfillment of the legal obligation to issue an invoice. In addition, all issued invoices are included in the accounting documentation, therefore your data will be processed as part of this documentation for a period of time required by law.

 

Returns and complaints.

If you withdraw from the agreement concluded via the store or you lodge a complaint about the products you have purchased, you provide us with the data contained in the agreement withdrawal form or the claim form, and we process this data to proceed with the withdrawal or claim procedure. The legal basis for processing your data in this case is the fulfillment of our legal obligations related to the withdrawal procedure or the complaint procedure. The agreement withdrawal forms and claim forms can be archived by us.

 

E-mail contact.

By contacting us via e-mail, you naturally provide us with your e-mail address as the sender’s address. You can also include other personal information in the message. The legal basis for personal data processing in this case is your consent resulting from initiating contact with us. Your personal data provided to us as part of an e-mail contact is processed only to consider your inquiry. The content of the correspondence can be archived.

 

Cookies and other tracking technologies.

Our store, like almost all other websites, uses cookies to provide you with the best experience of using the store. Cookies are small text information stored on your terminal device (e.g. a computer, tablet, smartphone) that can be read by our teleinformation system. Cookies allow us to:

Cookies used for statistical purposes.

We use cookies to track store statistics, such as the number of people visiting the store, the type of the operating system and internet browser used to browse the store, the time spent in the store, the visited subpages of the store, etc. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information collected in this case is completely anonymous and does not make it possible to identify you.

Server logs.

The use of the store involves sending queries to the server on which the store is installed. Each query addressed to the server is stored in the server logs.

The server logs contain your IP address, server date and time, information about the web browser and operating system. Logs are saved and stored on the server.

The data stored in the server logs is not associated with specific people who use the website and is not used by us for identification purposes. Server logs are only an auxiliary tool used to administer the website and their content is not disclosed to anyone except for the persons authorized to administer the server.

We provide the opportunity to use social functions such as sharing content in social networking sites and subscribing to a social profile. Using these functions may involve the use of cookies of the administrators of social networking websites such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.

Social tools.

Our websites use plug-ins and other social tools provided by social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram.

By browsing our website containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection with the servers of the administrators of social networking sites (service providers). The content of the plug-in is provided by a given service provider directly to your browser and integrated with the website. This information (along with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the server of a given service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.

If you have logged into one of the social networking sites, the service provider will be able to directly assign the visit to our website to your profile in a given social networking site.

If you use a given plug-in, for example, by clicking on the “Like” or “Share” button, relevant information will also be sent directly to the server of the given service provider and stored there.

In addition, this information will be published on your social networking site and will appear to people added as your contacts. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by service providers as well as the possibility of contact and your rights in this area and the possibility of making settings to protect your privacy are described in the privacy policy of individual service providers.

If you do not want social networking sites to assign the data collected during your visit to our website directly to your profile in a given site, you need to log out of this site before you visit our website. You can also completely prevent loading of plug-ins on the website by using the appropriate plug-ins for your browser, e.g. script blocking. 

Video.

We embed YouTube videos on our website. For this purpose, the cookies of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, US related to YouTube are used. Cookies are loaded only when videos are played. If you do not want them to be loaded, please do not play videos.

By playing videos, Google receives information about it even if you do not have a profile with your service provider or if you are not logged into it. This information (along with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the server of a given service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.

If you have logged in to Google, the service provider will be able to directly assign a video playback on our website to your profile in a given social networking site. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by service providers as well as the possibility of contact and your rights in this area and the possibility of making settings to protect your privacy are described in the privacy policy of individual service providers.

If you do not want Google to assign the data collected during video playback on our website directly to your profile in a given site, y you need to log out of this site before you visit our website.
